The first round of 11 pairs of hand painted and constructed pants are about Forgiveness. Whether the wrong was justifiable, cognizant, or not.

The first round are sample pairs are size 32x34”. Actual waist measures 17” across or 34” total. Hem, belt, taper, chop to preference.

Fabric is 100% cotton deadstock herringbone twill military fabric, industrially dyed black. Each pant is hand painted then constructed with love, very good working conditions, and very fair pay in California.

Just wear them. Similar to raw selvedge jeans. Wear as much as possible, let the paint fade in high use areas. Wash as little and delicately as possible. Spot treat stains. For odor let them sit in the sun and use odoban. And if you want, spray with your favorite cologne or perfume. If you must wash them hand wash with a light soap in the sink or tub. A good dry cleaner works too. You can machine wash them inside out separately on cold but paint will fade. They will still look great as they’re black HBT cargos with paint left. Collect them and don’t wear them if you want, but I’d rather you enjoy your life in them.

Each purchase goes back into the business now and charitable organizations that do real good in the future. For now the goal is more time and money to give care to the wearer’s psychological needs. There are articles of clothing that meet extremely physical needs. Isolation, invisibility, tribalism, depression, nihilism, status anxiety, wealth signaling are rampant. The goal is to let the wearer be who they are now in the world, detached from past, group think, and presumptions. Transcendence is the goal.
